Energy Data Solutions limits data processing to what is necessary to operate and secure the website and to respond to contact requests. This policy describes processing related to the contact form, hosting, and the audience statistics supplied by OVHcloud.

The form requires a reply email address and a message. Both fields are needed so that Energy Data Solutions can understand and respond to the request.

For enquiries about services or quotations, processing is necessary in order to take pre-contractual steps at the person's request. Other enquiries are processed on the basis of Energy Data Solutions' legitimate interest in responding to messages addressed to it.

The information is not automatically reused for marketing. The form creates no submission database: the hosting provider's mail service delivers the message to the Energy Data Solutions professional mailbox. Enquiries that do not lead to further action are deleted no later than 12 months after receipt. Where an exchange leads to a contractual relationship, information that remains necessary may be retained for the applicable legal and contractual periods.

OVHcloud shared hosting may set a technical SERVER ID cookie to distribute traffic across its infrastructure and keep a visitor on the same server during their session. OVHcloud states that this cookie is anonymous, strictly necessary for the hosting service, and retained for less than 24 hours. The website sets no advertising or marketing-personalisation cookies.

To limit automated submissions, the server temporarily uses the connection address to derive a rotating pseudonymous identifier. The form does not store the raw IP address. Only recent timestamps associated with that identifier are kept in a private directory and removed by a scheduled cleanup task. Application logs contain only a random request identifier and an outcome code, not the reply address or message content.

You may request access to, correction, erasure, or restriction of the processing of your personal data. Where processing is based on legitimate interests, you may also object on grounds relating to your particular situation. To exercise your rights, use the contact form on this website. You may also lodge a complaint with the CNIL, the French data-protection authority.

OVHcloud generates technical logs that may include the IP address, date and time, requested URL, and browser information. These logs are processed under OVHcloud's terms for periods necessary for service security and operation and for its applicable obligations.

OVHcloud Web Statistics is enabled on the hosting plan. According to OVHcloud, this service produces audience statistics from traffic data including the IP address, logs, URL, request duration, and user agent. OVHcloud states that this data is anonymised and aggregated on its own infrastructure and that no data allowing visitors to be identified directly or indirectly is retained in the statistical reports.

Energy Data Solutions installs no advertising tools, marketing pixels, or third-party behavioural tracking services. Contact requests are accessible only to Energy Data Solutions and the technical providers needed to transmit and host them, including OVHcloud. They are not sold or disclosed to third parties for commercial purposes.
